Bug: Recovery Media .NET Registry error
Hello,
I've created a recovery iso and burned it, But I can't use it.
When booting, right after the windows boot progress bar it shows the following error, and reboots when I click OK.
I've tested my Iso on a VM and two physical machines, including mine.
Please set registry key HKLM\software\microsofft\.NETFramework\Install Root to point to the .NET Framework install location.
on my Windows Install, the value is C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\, which seems to be the good path, it contains v4.0.30319 (and older versions).
Thanx for any help/pointers, I'd really like to fully test this!
EDIT: I also opened a case, #00704221, dunno If I should have only done that and not posted here... But maybe I'll qualify for most hidden bug and win a Surface, who knows?

Hello Renaud,
Welcome to Veeam Forums and thank you for post!
I noticed your case - we have a confirmed bug for such behavior. Could you please check if the account used for recovery media creation (the one that was logged in) contains a space in the name? That might be the root of this issue. Thank you.

Thank you, got it. To continue testing the Endpoint functionality, could you create a recovery appliance while running another user account with no spaces in it. Of course we would correct the existing behavior in the upcoming releases, once again thank you for pointing this out!

It works, perfect!
Thx!
You owe me a blank CD, with interests I think it sums up to a Surface 3!
