Calculating digests Error

Post by ictsol »

Hello,

Tried to open Support Ticket twice this and last week, but because I am free user I keep getting: Unfortunately, due to low support staff availability we were unable to process your request.

Could someone, please help me with Calculating digests Error: Could not find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\tmpF8E0.tmp'?
It's Entire Computer backup, tried to NAS and internal drive and always keep getting above error.

Would someone be kind enough to help?

Hi ictsol

Welcome to the forum.
Yes, that can happen with our free products. Support is still the right way to solve a technical issue.

Using our forum search, it could have todo something with recovery partition. Also check your vss writers if they have any issue. https://www.veeam.com/kb2041

But without a support case, it's not possible to analyze this issue on your computer over the forum.

Thanks

Hi Fabian,

Thanks for a quick reply.

I did check forum posts before opening new topic. We do not have recovery partition and all vss writers are stable with no errors.

Would you suggest to keep trying support? It already took 2-3 weeks and we are without Veeam backups.

Thanks

You can try, but chances are that the ticket will be closed again.
This issue doesn't seem to be a common issue, so a more detailed analysis (Agent Debug Logs, Event Logs, ...) of your system is required. We can not do that through the forums. This forum is run by product management, not the support team.

What you can additionally do is to ask our community (experts, partners) in the community boards.
Probably someone has had a similar problem and can guide you in the right direction in troubleshooting.
