Can installing the Veeam Agent for Windows (SQL) be disruptive

I am installing / creating a Veeam Agent backup from VBR Ent Plus and the target server is "mission critical" production.

I am wondering about the possibility of disruption for SQL services during the install and the potential need for a maintenance window?

It depends. I assume you're going to use Managed by Server backup jobs, which do not install the full-blown backup agent on the protected machines?
