Can't Change SMTP Settings

Email notification stopped working. Trying to modify the current SMTP settings, but they won't save. When I click Test Message, I get this error: "Access denied. Backup settings are managed by your backup administrator."

Any ideas?

Hi,

Is that VAW 2.0 BETA? Did you test configuration API (or maybe VAC)?

Yes, VAW 2.0 Beta. Not sure how to test.

Got it, thanks! Try admin account – this might be a permission issue.

That seems to have worked. I was logged in as Domain Admin. Didn't have to run-as-administrator on Veeam Endpoint.

Great! We added request for elevated account to all VAW 2.0 components to ensure that regular end-users won’t be able to change the settings.
