Recently there was a change for Veeam Agent for Windows (VAW) from 5.0.0 to 5.0.1 then to 5.0.2.
I am still in the midst of deploying 5.0.1 (upgrading from 4.x or 5.0.0).
If I move to VAW 5.0.2, can the DVD boot Veeam Media that was created in VAW 5.0.1 still be used to perform BMR (bare metal restores) for backups created in VAW 5.0.2 ?
Also would Veeam consider having a smaller patch file instead of the 350MB installer for version updates within a major version ?

Re: Can VAW 5.0 or 5.01 boot up media still be used ?
Hello zadrian,
This REs are fully compatible, however if you need one for latest W10 updates (say 21H2) or W11, I'd recommend creating a brand new RE from 5.0.2.

Since we plan to switch DB engine, the next version's setup package will noticeably lighter. Also would Veeam consider having a smaller patch file instead of the 350MB installer for version updates within a major version ?
