Cannot Restore from USB backup drive

I successfully performed an entire drive backup of my system to a USB drive and one incremental backup but when i try to restore from this USB drive it gives the following error "No disks have been mounted. Either disks of this type aren't seupported or some errors occured. See log file for details."

I have this message in my event details "Recovery appliance has not been created". Does this have anything to do with the issue I am having?

No, this message states that you need to create a Veeam Recovery Media for further bare metal recovery. Regarding the FLR error you got, I suggest you to open a support case thru built in support tool. Without the troubleshooting information (i.e. application logs) it hard to predict what causing this issue.
