Case #00949044: Service takes too long to shutdown

Created support case #00949044 for this. I've installed Veeam Endpoint Backup on about 5 PC's here so far as a test. I've successfully used it to backup and restore snapshots without issue. However there's one nagging issue on all the PC's I've tested so far. The service for Veeam Endpoint Backup takes around 20-22 seconds to close when rebooting or shutting down the PC. Too long, especially considering these are brand new systems with fresh OS installed and high-end hardware.

We have verbose status messages enabled domain-wide, and this is a common annoying sight for the users I'm using as guinea pigs (myself included):

Honestly, have not seen such behavior on my low end Asus T100 with windows 8.1 so lets await for the investigation results. Meanwhile I’ll ask QA team to take a closer look at your case. Thanks!

If you don't have Highly detailed status messages enabled then you won't see that specific message. It'll just show as an extra long "Shutting Down" or "Rebooting" status message.

I have the same problems on several Server 2012 R2 Systems:
Error Service Control Manager ID: 7043 Error
The Service Endpoint Veeam Backup could not be shut down properly after receiving a Preshutdown control.

Hello,

we have this problem on every single installation of Veeam Endpoint Backup, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 workstations.
I reported this weeks ago see Support Case #00892246.
