Chaing Agent Backup Jobs with Server Jobs?

Hello,

is it in any way possible to chain Windows Agent Backup Jobs with Server Backup Jobs?
That would be a really helpful feature, if the Windows Agent would also provide that option:

Or is that because of a technical or commercial reason in the Windows Agent?

Thanks for sharing your request! The problem is that standalone Veeam Agent for Windows knows nothing about Veeam Backup & Replication jobs. That said, we will have this option available as part of Agent Management feature in upcoming Veeam Backup & Replication Update 3.

Soon. Free agents can use direct backup to the repository (same as before), however agent management feature will require agent license installed on a backup server.

Yes. You can get a trail license (or NFR) to test Workstation or Server edition here.
