Keep restore points for the last 2 days
Compression level: Optimal (recommended)
Storage optimization: Local target
Storage encryption: disabled
GFS: disabled
Schedule -----------------------------------------
Schedule: workstation
Daily at [18:00]
If computer is shutdown at this time: [skip backup]
Once backup is taken, computer should: [keep running]
Where am i doing wrong?

Any chance you are backing up to rotated external drives?
Then yes, if you switch the backup drive to a drive without a backup chain, a new Full Backup is required.

Then it is unexpected behavior that you have regular fulls (multiple VBKs on the Backup disk).
Can you open a support case and upload the logs?
