Hi

Can Endpoint Backup only be installed to the %systemdrive% / C: drive?

I looked through the documentation and I can only see /silent as an install parameter.

I can't see a custom option during install

Currently, it is not possible to use custom path for the Endpoint installation.

I would like to deploy VEB settings to multiple PCs in my office. Is there a file with settings which I can copy to PCs? Or is there some other (better?) way to do this task?

Hi Nikolay,

You can use either of the methods to do this: Installing Veeam Endpoint Backup in Unattended Mode or Using Sysprep and Veeam Endpoint Backup.

P.S. keep in mind that if you decide to proceed with option n1, then you will still need to configure backup jobs on every Endpoint manually.

My question is not about installation. It is about VEB settings.

Imagine I have several computers with VEB installed on them. I configure VEB backup on one computer. Which file contains this configuration? Especially interesting to have correct destination settings. So I copy this file with settings to other computers to avoid a lot of manual configuration work. Will this scenarion work?

All configuration data is stored in the database. Currently the only way to remotely manage VEB is to use LabTech RMM platform, but thanks for the feedback!
