Dedicated administrator

dear,

i would like to install paex one server after our veaam agent for Windows installed but the veeam is on a sql version alone.

Following lots of forum and web site, it's told to start with new parameters for sqlexepress , but instance is not seen in sql management studio and anything else.

How could i parameter the fact that the sql limited by Veeam to be open for other products ?

i got servers Windows 2012 installed. chronology if installation. Officescan12 + Veeam 3.0 for Windows (free) + migration officescan to Apex One.

Installation from officescan12 works perfectly and also for the veeam 3.0 for Windows..
When Migrating antivirus program, issue came because of non dedicated Administraor on the sql express version installed.
When i have a look on the SQL configuration tool, database is not available and not accessible.

so i would like to start the SQL with the dedicated adminsitrator.

i'm not a specialist on sql

the issue is Apex one cannot be installed on the SQL express server.
It's because sql express (installed with veeam) is limited to one connection,
With no dedicated administrator, sql express is detected by Apex but cannot be accessed simultaneously from veeam and Apex (or other apps)...
SQL express or instance need to get sqlexpress installed with dedicated administrator,

We dot not recommend nor support performing any manual operations or installing any kind of software on top of the Veeam Agent for Windows' SQL instance because it may lead to software malfunction. Moreover, we use the LocalDB edition of SQL server so I'm not even sure it's suitable for Apex One. Thanks.

but how can we do.

uninstall all components installed for veeam for Windows free (+ localdb sql express, and lots of more things installed.... could it be possible to list all components that were installed with veeam free version, that's for uninstall all of them.
then i'll install Apex one and i'll will reinstall veeam free for Windows

is that seems correct?

but veeeam free for winodws, will be able to install on the SQL installed with Apex One ?

ok i've successufully install upgrade Officescan to Apex one.
But in prequesite, i've uninstall veeam for windows Free, sqlserver localdb and some other sql components installed with the same installation date and version of build.
then antivirus apex one is installed and running.

to import/export, backup job, it seems to be that way to get information :
i found the solution by editing the job, and in the summary tab, we get the commandline to process :Command line to start the job:
"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe" "backup" "42e9daa8-16d0-412c-829c-3dfc1df61e26"

next question is :
i apology that veeam backup for Windows free will use the database engine install with apex..

You may use Veeam Agent Configurator to Import and Export Agent configuration data.
