Difference in action of VeeamMediaRecovery

Post by tomekw »

Hi
What is the difference in action of VeeamMediaRecovery between the Veeam server and the agent?
VeaamAgnet for Windows from the workstation level. There are options that are enabled by default: Include network connections settings from this computer and
Include hardware drivers from this computer.
Does performing recovery media from the Veeam server also include these options?
Best Regards
Tomek

Hi Tomasz and welcome to the community!

The hardware drivers will be preserved for sure.
I will ask about the network settings and come back shortly. Thanks!

Hi Tomasz,

Unfortunately, network settings aren't preserved if you initiate Recovery Media creation through the backup server due to different algorithm of creation. Thanks!
