Dear all,
I have two usb drives (F:\, G:\), one of which (G:\) is used as VeeamBackup target. G:\ is disconnected after a backup. The option "When backup target is connected" is enabled. After a reboot (or more specific after resume from standby) Veeam automatically uses drive F:\ as backup target. Is it possible to prevent automatic falback?
Greets, Daniel.

Re: Disable automatic fallback "When backup target is connected"
Hello Daniel,
Do you keep the second USB drive connected to the same port after 1st drive is ejected? Also, do you see the same behavior when having only USB drive connected?
Thank you!

Re: Disable automatic fallback "When backup target is connected"
Daniel,
Also please check if the said backup target is listed under Known removable media (Control Panel > Settings > Manage registered storage devices) and if it's there, please remove it from the list. Cheers!

Re: Disable automatic fallback "When backup target is connected"
Hey guys,
sorry for the delayed reply. I didn't get a forum notification.
Dmitri, you were right. The unwanted USB drive was listed in Manage registered storage devices. After removing it Veeam backs up only when the correct drive is connected. With this in mind the fallback feature is pretty cool if one uses more than one unplugged USB drive. Thanks for your help.
