Dration Merging
Hallo
I am using the latest free version of Veeam. Everything works fine.
The backup runs very fast (last 5 min), but why does the merging take so long (more than 1 hour)?
The backup is done on an external hard disk.
Thanks

Re: Dration Merging
Thanks. This might be either caused by performance of your USB drive or fragmentation of full backup file (specifically if you run this backup chain for a long time without active full backups). To workaround the second issue you can start a new backup chain manually (right click Veeam Agent tray icon and go to Backup > Active Full) or schedule periodic active full backup.
