Endpoint backup licensing

Post by atta »

Hello,

We need help with endpoint licensing because we didn't get clear answer.
Scenario: Client has own Veeam server and have 10 laptops on which will take backup with endpoint. They will send all backups to our cloud connect repository. Now question is how will we license it? If they have 10 vms and 10 endpoint backup will that be 20 cloud connect licenses or?
Thank you in advanced.

Atta,

That seems correct to me. The service provider is going to threat the endpoint backups as VMs and charge you for that similarly. If you are uncertain, you can always contact the specific service provider as you will make the agreement with them and not with us.

Hope it helps
