I'll be doing a VBR VMware implementation at the end of February, and the cu asked me if Veeam also offers a solution to protect his 500+ desktop and laptop users. I immediately thought of the Veeam Agent for Windows, but I fear that covering 500+ users would be cost prohibitive if they want to integrate and manage endpoint with VBR and its repositories. They could however eliminate a legacy endpoint protection solution if they put it all under Veeam.
Any advice, observations, guidance?

Re: Endpoint protection and E+ Availability Suite
Endpoints protection with Veeam costs like $4 per month, is this cost prohibitive for this customer?

Gostev, is that with full integration with VBR? Or as much as possible, anyway?

Jim,
There is no difference: whenever you get the license you can run agent in standalone mode managed manually or control all your agents via Veeam B&R Console. Cheers!
