Some of endpoint backups jobs throw error when try to run backup for first time.
"Error: Access to the path 'C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Endpoint\activation.xml' is denied."
That activation.xml doesnt exist on any of PCs.
Users is local admins.
Quick search on these forums doesn't return any any to this question, so please contact our support team directly. Once you do this, please post your case ID for future reference.
This xml is created and then deleted during backup process. Make sure that your antivirus is not blocking VEB from creating/modifying and deleting files.

My admin resolved this problem.
Kaspersky qualifies Veeam.EndPoint.Service.Exe and Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.Exe like Low Restricted application.
All application which are Low Restricted doesn't have permissions to write or modify defined protected file extension.
xml files is in protected groups.
