[MERGED] Failed to decompress LZ4 block: Incorrect decompression result or length

Post by riahc3 »

Error Restore job failed Error: Failed to decompress LZ4 block: Incorrect decompression result or length (result: '991638', expected length: '1048576'). Failed to download disk. Agent failed to process method {DataTransfer.SyncDisk}.

Looking around it seems this is because of physical storage corruption.....But Im scanning the drives and all storage drives seem to be fine.

I also can extract individual guest files perfectly.

I tried the Extract utility but it gives a error of it cannot continue.

Is there a way to force extract a VMDK or something? Its honestly all I need.

Is it the same error when you are trying to restore from a different restore point? Check this KB.

Yes, I have tried multiple ones but without success.

I scanned both the source disks and target disks and none of them give errors.

Is there any way to force the decompression? I can extract individual guest files perfectly.

In this case, contact your sales rep to fix issues with accessing your Veeam account. Additionally, our hotline service (at veeam.com) should be able to assist you with retrieving access to your account.
