Exchange 2016 DAG

Hello everyone,

I would like to know if you have any comment / guide lines to backup an Exchange 2016 Farm (2 Physical servers in Dag mode)
For now, we backup full server in a protection group.
The result is that both servers are backed up separately - I do not have the impression that there is a dedup as the data are almost the same on both servers?

Guides could be found here and here. In case of failover cluster job type you can expect deduplication to work across the nodes, but the impact could be recognized only for operating system volumes/files.
