Hi,

I'm currently testing Veeam Endpoint Backup on an Exchange 2016 farm.

Here's my setup.

- 1 Veeam Backup Server with a repository
- 2 Exchange server 2016 with VEB installed on them.

Exchange servers are virtualized with local drive. But databases and logs are configure as mount point under very small drive (Ex. L drive 1 GB, mount point to the log drive)
I ran VEB on both server then try to restore an email. I'm able to browse the wholes databases but I cannot see any mail under the mailbox. The service account I use is local admin, domain admin and Organization Management (Exchange group).

Also, the second time I ran VEB, look like it was unable to backup the databases. It was able to backups drives with assign letter, the log mount point but not the database mount point.

Any hint?

VEB 1.5.0.306

Btw, the backup database is fixed. VSS issue with the Exchange server but VEB doesn't catch it. I just reboot my server and VSS was ok. But still, when browsing with Veeam Exchange Explorer, I can't find any email.

Glad to hear that reboot solved the vss issue.
But still, when browsing with Veeam Exchange Explorer, I can't find any email.
