Exchange Mailbox restore using Windows Agent
Is installing the free version of B&R still the only way to restore mailbox level exchange boxes? I have a client that is doing test restores and wants to restore mailbox level restores from Exchange running on a physical server. Based on older posts it appears the only way to do this is to restore a backup, install the free version of B&R that will take advantage of the Veeam Explorer plug-in to restore individual mailboxes and then import the backup to B&R. Looking for any assistance. Thanks.

Hello Tom,
Indeed, VBR (at least free version) is required to perform an application level recovery.

You can also take a look at Veeam Backup for Office 365 which now support on-premises Exchange.

Re: Exchange Mailbox restore using Windows Agent
Thanks for feedback. Is there documentation that outlines the process needed to import a restore from the Veeam Agent into B&R in order to take advantage of the Veeam Explorer for Exchange? I need to provide my client with a solution. Thanks.
