Feature Request: Advanced Backup Options

Hi Everyone,

We are a SP and currently we love the veeam windows agent.
We have setup some of our clients and are backing up to Cloud Connect and using VAC to monitor it.

One thing I noticed is that an archive of full backups can be made monthly.
But it's not like the backup copy job in VBR. When trying to do this on the CC server we aren't able to see the backups from the Veeam Windows Agents.

Basically, what we would like to see is the option of weekly monthly and yearly backups that can be retained for x amount of days.
Is this a feature that is coming? A lot of our clients would like monthly backups done in addition to the 7 days they currently have.

I wonder if periodic active full backup will help in your case? Active full backup can be scheduled on a weekly basis in Configure job > Repository > Advance. Thanks.

Periodic active full backup is a start.
But if I want a monthly backup done at the 1st of every month, and to keep 12 restore points so that we have a monthly backup done for up 2 a year.
That currently cannot be done with the options provided.

Another option is for your clients to backup to VBR, then use backup copy jobs to get those agent backups to you via CC.

Hi Joe, these clients wouldn't have a server to install VBR on. Unless we can backup to a VBR over a WAN connection.
