Feature Request - Backup at login

I would like to be able to backup upon login in addition to log off. The issue here is that I often do not want to delay shut down or restart (maybe I just want to shut down quickly and get going). On the other hand, I often don't mind when the backup starts right away when I've logged in as I don't really care about the additional load this causes in the background. Or does Veeam also count "Backup storage attach" when logging in? This would be fine for me - but it would nevertheless make sense to offer this option as well.

Yes, we have seen a couple requests for storage availability backup, so I guess "backup at login" will be triggered at the same time. Thanks for your feedback!

Sorry to bring this up again, but I have tested it and I would still really appreciate it if "Backup at login" is an option. For me, "At backup storage attach" does not really work reliably for my NAS.

No, it should not. You need to physically attach USB storage to PC so the backup is triggered by special even in the OS.

"At backup storage attach" does not really work reliably for my NAS

If you mean NAS target as a shared folder, then yes – in the BETA this option works for the USB devices only. However we have some plans for improving this functionality in GA
