Hi,
I think it would be nice to backup laptops over a secured SSL connection to the VEB environment centrally located in a datacenter, like Cloudconnect.
Integrate this with a Bare Metal Recovery SD card, and laptop users are able to restore their systems over internet

Hi Markie,
Nice feature request
Unfortunately this isn't that easy as it sounds but with Veeam never say never
I do would like some more information about the SD card... Are you saying to create a recovery appliance on a SD card just the way we do now with a USB flash device or DVD drive? I haven't tried this one (I even don't have a SD card at this moment to try...) but maybe d.popov knows if this is already possible today...

Hi Mike,
Correct. Just boot from SD card (that is Always present in your laptop) and use the VEB recovery options.

Cool,
will this option be available in future versions of the Create Recovery Media application ? Currently you can only create BMR USB devices
