Feature Request - Backup Resume for failed/incomplete backup
It would be nice if the product offered the ability to resume from a failed backup. Whether the backup was canceled by the end user or for any other reason (system went to sleep, etc.) it would be nice to be able to resume the failed backup instead of having to start over.

Re: Feature Request - Backup Resume for failed/incomplete ba
Brian,
Since Endpoint Backup leverages MS VSS, I guess, it should not any advantage between resuming and running a new backup from the performance perspective. Anyway, this an interesting idea, so that you for bringing this up. We will discuss it with dev team.

Feature request - pause image creation
Hi,
how a about the option to pause a image creation? So if you have to leave the office and the creation of you image from the notebook is for any reason not finished, so you can hit "pause" and unplug your device. after you are back you can restart and finishing the creation. Sounds difficult but maybe? No other got this option

Thomas,
Yes, this feature is in the list, and to be honest I like it - the best use case so far is when your USB drive temporary disconnects from the system during backup

Dmitry,
In a sense what Thomas asked for is a better way to put what I was thinking.

It would also be nice that backup prevented sleep mode after inactivity to kick in. Or this feature already exists? It's not mentioned in the PDF documentation.MarchBrown wrote:It would be nice if the product offered the ability to resume from a failed backup. Franco,
Will be available in GA for any device without ‘connected standby’ power saving mode.

I vote for resume at least for initial full backup. Just to avoid restarting backup all over for mobile users moving between different networks.
