Feature Request - Backup when only ethernet (LAN) connected

Hi,

I would to request that the backup jobs will occur only when there is ethernet (LAN) network is connected. This is important for laptops due to the wireless is easily saturated if backup jobs is running. If both the wireless and lan network is present, VEB will use the LAN network to backup.

What if your laptop is used during travels, should it also do backups at least to the local drive?

None of my portable computers in the past many years even had NIC all Wi-Fi only!

Hello again, it would be useful to include an event to detect when the connectivity status of the network where the repository or the share is located changes.

For example, when using a laptop, I would like to initiate a backup when it is connected to the local network or a VPN connection, without waiting or even combined with other kind of events.

For jobs configured to store the backups on a NAS, it would be awesome to have a trigger to perform the backup once the device is attached to that network device, similar to the way it detects the USB device connected.
