Hi Jurgen,
Is Eject Removable Storage once backup is completed option what you are looking for?
/Thanks!

Re: Feature Request: Eject USB Drive after PC is powered up and Job has run.
Yes this is the feature.
But if you don´t remove the USB Drive after eject (lazy user) and shutdown the Computer..
Next day, if the next Backup is done (or the missed Backup at 3:00) the USB Drive is not ejected.
So there should be an Option to eject after every Backup.
I am Aware that this would make no sense if you have an intervall of 1h.
But i Need a daily Backup, maybe at boot time and then disconnect the drive from PC.
On a Windows Server i have a Task, that scan´s the USB ports for devices and connects a 3TB Disk at 10PM
At 10:15 the Server Backup starts and after the Backup Job finished, an Event log triggered script removes the disk.
So the disk is not present outside the Backup Window.
This would be a nice feature (simple with Windows and Event log triggering)

You are right and yes, task script workaround was my next thought.
Noted Feature Request for future versions.
