Feature Requests - ISO update & backup copy
I would like to see the .ISO file auto updated, then pushed to the backup repository automatically, so if there's a problem that needs a bare metal restore we can pull the iso from the repository along with the latest backup.
Also, I would like the ability to either schedule a 2nd job so we can do local and cloud backups, or a second destination setting in the local job so we can get a copy off site without the use of B&R.
I have a couple of small clients that could really use this ability.

Re: Feature Requests - ISO update & backup copy
Hello Jon.
For agents managed by Veeam B&R server recovery media components are collected automatically during first full backup, so you can create recovery media any time you want. Standalone agents (installed manually without Veeam B&R) still require manually recovery media creation but we plan to add some command line options in next versions (so the .iso creation can be automated). Thanks.

Thats fine.
will the iso be created from installed windows (filesystem) or from a windows (installer) iso?

Recovery Media is going to be created from the components collected during backup from the original operating system you were backing up. Cheers!

+1. I'm surprised that this is not already possible. It really limits the value of the Agent as a stand-alone backup solution.Big Jon wrote: Also, I would like the ability to either schedule a 2nd job so we can do local and cloud backups, or a second destination setting in the local job so we can get a copy off site without the use of B&R.
