file is being used

I have seen some posts in regards to this but not for Endpoint. I am backing up to a nas and one device is continually failing with

"The process cannot access the file because it is being used"

listing the last incremental. I have tried looking at the file with "unlocker" but it see's no processes locking. thoughts or idea's?

Can you clarify are you getting the error during file level backup or volume level backup or somewhere else? Thanks

It's an entire computer backup, i see the error in the event logs pointing to the destination share/file

And what is the result of the backup job? I mean, for now it sound like an error in the event logs without any real issue – or I am missing something?

sorry for the delay. The job does not complete is the issue, the event is what alerts me to the job being incomplete.

I deleted the backups and re-ran a full to a new target. To be honest since I've moved most of my devices to a new target I have not seen the issue again. My experiences using a drobo have not been good. I will revisit should I see this again.
