I'm trying to make sense of/whether it's safe to delete the following except _3:
PCname_1 with a vbk Nov 18 and several vib from Oct to Nov 18
PCname_2 with a vbk Dec 27 and several vib after then to Feb 5 <- I believe Dec 27 is when app was updated after failed backups.
PCname with a vbk Feb 6 and a vib Feb 13 <- don't know what caused this to start new unless a network issue can cause that ?
PCname_3 with a vbk Feb 17 and couple vib to today and .vbm today
There is no reference within the current and only .vbm (found in _3) to any dates or filenames prior to Feb 17, nor to any of the other 3 folders ( _1 _2 and without underscore )
Could the user have requested a new chain or to take a one-time static backup etc ?
Is anything in the other 3 folders recoverable without those vbk or vib presence known in the one and only .vbm ?

Re: Folders with underscore Job PCname_1
Hi techgirl,
Typically the _* folder names means that Veeam could not "find" the previous backup and tried to make a new one -- when creating the folder, because a folder already existed, the _* gets appended and that folder is used.
This is not expected behavior at first blush, and it's best to open a Support Case and let Support review the logs.
The VBK files are full backups, and they can be used for restore all on their own, so if you still want to have a backup from these time periods, keep the VBK.
Please do open a Support Case to review the behavior because should not be happening like this. Please share your case number once created. Thanks!
