I'm getting the following error when trying to boot from a USB key created
by VEEAM Recovery Media builder.
A component of the operating system has expired
File:\Windows\system32\winload.exe
Error Code: 0xc0000605
VEEAM Endpoint Backup 1.1.2.119
USB was created on Windows 10 system, running preview release 11082.
BIOS date is correct.
Is there any way to force VEEAM to use the MS ADK components instead of
whatever it's finding?

Re: Getting error 0xc0000605
Hi,
First of all, I believe it might be a Windows related issue because build 11082 expires in July 15, 2016 - you have almost half a year. Also please keep in mind that correct performance of Endpoint cannot be guaranteed in case of usage with pre-release versions of Windows. So please contact Microsoft support as well and keep working with our techs.
Thank you.

Hi 6lhasaco,
Have you tried to recreate the recovery media while latest build is installed?

I believe that it has to do with the forced expiry of Windows 10 Preview builds. VEEAM support sent me the registry setting that forces using the ADK. Which did work correctly. Using the previous media also worked if i set the BIOS date back to 2014.

Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the heads up, I am glad you are up and running now. I’ve deleted the key from your post to keep it from regular use – let’s leave the distribution to support team.
