Hello,
after installing VEEAM Agent 2.0 (free mode) on our FileServer, there is very strange behavior of GUI.
I can show the Control Panel, but when I clik on any column of backup, it freeze, system drive is under high write operation from Veeam.Endpoint.Tray.exe (write about 1MB/S, read about 450B/s), even after 30minutes no details is shown and the GUI is unusable. It can be closed by X, but the disk write operation persists until process Veeam.Endpoint.Tray.exe is killed in Task manager.
I have noticed this only when backups are very huge, in my case it is over 1TB of first, incrementals are small daily.
I can backup, I can restore - but only way to restore is right click on tray icon, select restore. It is all quick and funcional there. Only GUI details of backup cannot be clicked.
FileServer is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, net 4.5.2 installed.
Target backup is shared folder, Advanced storage optimalization is set to LAN target, compression is Optimal.
Can anyone confirm this?

Re: GUI details freeze, invoke high disk write if backup 1TB
Hi MasterII,
UI should not be affected by source data size, so that does not look like expected. Kindly keep working with our support team and don’t forget to update the thread with the investigation results.
