How do I restore dynamic disk volume

Hi,

My Veeam agent version is 5.0.3. Veeam restore media created by the same version.

My computer has different type of dynamic disk, mirror, stripped, spanned. When I finish first time backup, I use VeeamRecoveryMedia to restore my data. I found that I can't restore dynamic disk volume by manually or automatically.

Hello ericlin,

EDIT: Looks like Recovery Media does not provide the option to restore disk as Dynamic but you can restore the dynamic volume as simple volume (so dynamic volume in the backup can be converted to a simple volume during recovery). I'll ask technical writers to update the user guide.

Do you mean I can't restore volume to any kind of dynamic volume type, like https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=50 ?

Backed up volume can only be restored to simple dynamic volume.
