Dear all
Hi
during restore an OS on bare metal appear this error
"OS disk in backup uses GPT disk. This may cause boot issues on BIOS systems."
and i use this KB to solve that :
https://www.veeam.com/kb2407
but want to know do i have to do these steps always for restore windows ?
why veeam can not do all of these steps automatically ?

Only when you are restoring GPT formatted partition to a machine that does not support GPT (usually you can see this on legacy motherboards systems where you must enable the legacy mode to boot properly). Cheers!

now i restore a virtual machine on physical server and show this error although my virtual machine boot option mode is on EFI mode

Check the boot settings on your VM:
- Select the VM
- Right click settings
- Go to Options
- Go to Advanced
- On the right side of pane you should see the the boot option: switch it to BIOS if it's set to EFI
