Hi GREEN,

You can’t configure a weekly full. VEB follows forever incremental backup approach, so first backup is a full and the rest are incremental. Although, you can create additional standalone full backups (not affected by retention) manually or via scripting.

Kindly, check Help Center for more details. Thanks

Dima P is right.
With Veeam Endpoing Backup, the first backup is full and the rest is incremental. With this ideal setup, you can restore your pc or laptop to any point back in time according to your recovery points. You can make additional standalone backups for example every months in order to keep history backups.

You can create a scrit and add it to windows task scheduler. The following syntax is supported:

To create an incremental backup

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe" /backup
To a standalone full backup

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe" /standalone
To create a standalone full backup to a different location

Code: Select all

"C:\Program Files\Veeam\Endpoint Backup\Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe" /standalone <location>

GREEN,

Standalone full could be created via cmd by using commands above or by right clicking tray icon > backup and choosing this option.
