How to create a recovery disk
I have been using the VEEAM backup and replication community edition version 12.3 and been happy with the results. Previous restores have been only files or folders. We can across a need to restore the OS drive for the server from a VEEAM backup and replication community edition version 12.2 backup. MY previously created rescue usb drive isn’t reading any of the backups. Both file types are present; one vbm file and three vbk files. I was told that I need to create a rescue disk from a current version (not one from a few years ago). So I download the 12.3 and installed same. When the installation was complete, it did not present a request to create a rescue disk. I am having difficulty in find where to locate the create recovery disk. I don’t even see a restore button on the just installed VEEAM, nor do I see a tools button when I start the VEEAM backup and replication console. When looking at the menu list thru windows, I do not see a create recovery disk either. This is a second download from two different places and install, so not thinking it’s a corrupt install. Is there an online link to create this?
