Re: How to decide when Endpoint bkp start ?
Hi SySoP,
I might understand the question wrong... But when configuring the backup job, you can use the schedule to run daily at xx hour (your choice) and then use it in combination with "back up no more often than every" 167 hour... (which is 6 days and 23 hours...) This will prevent the schedule from running daily and only do it on Sunday... At least when you start your first job on Sunday
Cheers
Mike

"At least when you start your first job on Sunday ": i think that's the point, you need to install Endpoint the same day (for me for example) you want it to run, so ther's no other to change the beginning of the job from thursday to sunday ?

Re: How to decide when Endpoint bkp start ?
SySoP,
I understand that is indeed a bit of a problem. And unfortunately I can only give you one workaround for this today. Let the first full run on whatever day, calculate the hours until sunday... and on Monday, change the schedule to the correct amount of hours...
Sorry, all I have

Hi,
Wahat is your target repo? Is it VBR repo or some removable drive?

If so, have you already tried toggling your Endpoint Job via PowerShell? You can set your job to run every day at X hours. Next, schedule your VBR server to enable Endpoint Job on Backup Day and disable after backup is done using Windows Task Scheduler. I think that will do the job.VBR Repo.

Might be an option to use a “when backup target is connected” Endpoint’s backup event and trigger the network adapter via the script.VBR Repo.
