ignore error on SQL Job Log backups

Hi guys,
I have an multi site database (DAG) and each machine is protected by a standalone installation.

The backup of databases and Logs run without error on "primary site", in secondary site é receive the fallowing error "12/13/2021 6:32:38 PM :: Transaction logs from some databases were not backed up for the last 42 intervals" as expected because logs are being backed up on another veeam.

But I have error jobs the be sent by email, and I get my mailbox flooded. It´s possible to disable only the "Transaction Log Errors" without disable all notifications for this job?

No, I don't think it's possible to disable that only notification, maybe a rule in your mailbox just can do the trick!

Marco, this topic is about Distributed availability groups for sql systems.

Veeam do not have Exchange Log Backups as a feature.
There is no mailbox involved in alexandres issue/question.

I don‘t think that there is such a granular option for the notification. But I don‘t have any experience with SQL AlwaysOn Groups.

I have found something in the guides.
Distributed AlwaysOn Groups are not supported by veeam Agent.
And the standalone cannot be used to process clustered sql servers.
I think, you face both limitations in your environment. My recommendation is to bring your infrastructure in a supported state.

Failover Cluster Support

Backup of failover clusters is supported in Veeam Agent managed by Veeam Backup & Replication only. You cannot process a failover cluster by Veeam Agent operating in the standalone mode.

Distributed AlwaysOn Groups are not supported.
