Import backup files and restore data from physical server

Servus Community,

to restore data from an archived backup of a physical server I restored the backup files (vbm; vbk; vib) on the backup server. I now need to import the backup chain into the Veeam Backup & Replication console and found this manual [1]. But it talks about virtual machine data to restore, is this not relevant for this use case or do I have to follow another manual?
