Free and Workstation editions allows only simple daily schedule scheme.
If you are using USB\Network backup target, you can set schedule to "When target is available" and play with a simple Windows Scheduler script that will re-connect target every 4 hours.

Would it be possible to use Windows Task Scheduler to start the backup job every 4 hours with the free edition?
I don't find any limitation for that in the Agent Comparison documents.

Veeam.Agent.Configurator.exe will require an upgrade, however Veeam.EndPoint.Manager.exe should do the trick for the free edition as well!
