Input string was not in correct format
I'm getting the subject error when trying to restore a file from any of my backups. Running Veeam Agent for Windows on a Windows 2012 server. I get as far as choosing the restore point and the Backup Browser console comes up and I get the error. I have opened a support case for this issue, the id number is 03944503.

Re: Input string was not in correct format
Hello Roger,
Can you please clarify what repository you are using to store you backup files? Any chance that's a CIFS on Synology? Thanks!

The backups are saved to a shared folder on a Lacie 2big NAS device.

Thanks! Similar issue has been was reported by a Synology user and following set of options described in this post helped to fix the problem.
If possible, try to copy the backup files to a local storage and start restore from such copy. This should help to isolate the issue and will let us know that backup files are fully operational. Cheers!

Re: Input string was not in correct format
I am having this issue as well. Support case number is 04817124. In my case, my target NAS is a QNAP. I tried implementing the steps in the above mentioned post, but that did not help. Any other suggestions?

Re: Input string was not in correct format
Hi,
I had the same issue. When I used the latest version of Veeam, the error was resolved. However, backups taken with the new version cannot be opened with the old version of Veeam
Cheers

Hi, but why would you want to keep an old version around in the first place? It's no longer supported and has known security vulnerabilities.
