Install Windows Agent Server Vs. 5.0 Edition on a Windows 10 PC

Hi,

I have a customer with a Windows 10 Workstation that uses the free edition of the agent.

He likes do have multiple backup jobs to different locations, that are local USB-Drives and SMB-shares on a NAS and he wants to have synthetic full backups.

As far as I know, the server edition will do this.

My questions is simple: can the server edition be installed on a Windows 10 21H2 Workstation?

Hello,

Yes, Windows 10 21H2 is supported for VAW for all editions (including Server). You can find the full list of the system requirements here.
Please note these requirements are written for 5.0.2 version (the latest one).

Also, please take a look at the editions description, system requirements should not depend on the product edition.
