Invalid license type

Hi,

I'm trying to install our license for Veeam Agent for Microsoft Windows 3.0.0.748 but just get "Invalid license type". Has anyone else seen this? Never had any problems licensing the old v2 agent but this is first time on v3.

Opened a support ticket with Veeam 2 days ago (03408942) but not heard anything yet so just thought I'd put this out there...

Can you specify where exactly are you trying to install the license? Thanks!

Hi Dmitry,

In the agent, the hamburger button, about, Update license to get additional features, License, Install button...

It's a standalone install so no Veeam console.

Have you updated your license through the my.veeam.com portal? Veeam Agent for Windows v3 requires a new type of license.

Ah, I thought the new licenses were only for Veeam v9.5 Update 4.

I also assumed the license which was emailed out would be the correct license for new installs.

I've logged in and found the U4 license though and that works! Thank you
