LTO and DAT72 support for Win 2K8 R2

Hi everybody.

I've just learned that Win 2K 8 R2 don't support tape anymore. :/
I have many LTO and don't want to buy hard drives for backup.

I've installed Endpoint Backup Free to do a test but it don't see my LTO.

(device are recognized on Windows Device manager).

Yes, Veeam Backup and Replication (paid) version does support Tape backups.

If you need to offload backups taken from physical servers/desktops to tapes, then you need to target your Veeam Endpoint Backup job to Veeam B&R repository and then use backup to tape/file to tape jobs to send these files to your LTO media.

Moreover you can use Veeam Endpoint Backup in conjunction with Veeam Backup and Replication Free Edition: free edition’s file to tape job could pick the endpoint backup files

Hum, I've just installed this version. all tapes are recognized (Tape server is the same server) .

We have a Qnap NAS and I found this article https://www.qnap.com/i/fr/business_solu ... one&cid=17.
But what about the ability to backup NAS datas shared folders to the tape ? Is this possible ?
