Managing Rotated Drives

Post by bulletlynn »

When swapping USB drives it is not clear if this is a manual step to register and unregister every time?

The first time, you plug in a rotated disk the first time, it needs to be the same drive letter as the one when you configured the first rotated disk.
You can see the letter in the backup repo view in the vbr console.

After that, it can be every drive letter, because disk id will be tracked.
