Monitoring Physical Server's and supporting smaller clients
Hi All,
What would be considered best practice for monitoring several physical machines on a network? This would be a completely VM free environment, say with one or two windwos servers (Physical) and 5 windows clients. What would be the best way to monitor and control backups in this scenario?
Also if I was wanting monitor and configure backup for other clients from a central server either in the cloud or remote to my clients, is this a supported scenario or even possible?
Many Thanks
Adam

Hello Adam,
Have you tried to use Veeam B&R console as a single control panel for all your agents? Thanks.

Hi Dima,
Yes but I wondered would each client need to purchase Backup and replication to monitor there Physical servers? Even if they dont have any virtual servers?
Thanks
Adam

It's not required: you can use Veeam B&R Free with just agent license installed.

Adam,
There is another solution - [ur=https://www.veeam.com/availability-console.htmll]Veeam Availability Console[/url]. It allows you to manage agents across multiple sites via single console. Worth checking if you have multiple shops to protect with agents. Cheers!
