Most hidden bug: Shared folder credentials behavour
Backing up to a shared folder on a Synology Diskstation DS214se configured to allow anon connections does not function without credentials. Not selecting the 'This share required access credentials' checkbox leads to an "Invalid username or password' error message when selecting next. Only by selecting the checkbox and entering credentials for a valid user can the wizard proceed.

not sure, but this seems to be a behaviour of the Synology and not of Veeam Endpoint.
What happens if you boot from a Linux-CD and try to access the share without submitting credentials of a valid user?

Michael,
Thank you. Yes, we got several cases regarding credentials and browse functionality for the share folder target - QA is looking into it.
Sebastian,
It’s not quite clear for now as it might be a network specific or device specific issues, but anyhow we will correct the VEB behavior for sure.

Change request - Shared folder browsing
When I setup a new job the after pressing „Brows…” button, the browsing would start from the folder what was written in the „Shared folder” input field, not from the top of the network tree.

Károly,
Thank you for posting. We are aware of this behavior of Browse button in the Shared folder as a backup target. We are working on getting this fixed in the GA.
