multi-user desktop, how to accomplish privacy?

Post by marcottt »

Hi, i have a problem with privacy for multi user desktop enviroment.... my problem is to protect file restore of a user from another user in same pc.

We have many desktop used by more users, i need to block restore of a file from another user of same PC, or in alternative, protect with password whole restore process so only me can restore file...

Anyone have some idea ?
thanks

Are you using Veeam Backup & Replication? As it allows you to manage the agents and prevent this from happening by configuring the policy. The users won't be able to see the agent and only you can do restores. More information can be found in the user guide.

Hello Marco,

File level recovery in Veeam Agent for Windows requires administrative account to be used. Can you please clarify if all the users have admin access to the machine? Thank you!
