Multiple IPs on Veeam Server, VAW connects to the wrong IP

Hi,

we are trying the new VAW FREE on a Windows 2012 R2 Server. Sadly, it tries to connect to the wrong IP of our VEEAM B&R Server.

The Veeam Server has 3 IPs:

1 for management
2 for iSCSI traffic

Now I have set up VAW on a seperate site connected to the datacenter via a VPN and set the hostname/ip field in VAW to the management ip of the B&R server. It connected, checked for a license and the repository. Until now, it worked well.
But when I start a backup, it wants to connect to one of the iSCSI IPs and fails.

Could anyone please tell my why it wants to connect to another ip? Why doesn't it use the ip I specified?

Looks like a routing issue. Can you please open a support case via Control Panel > Support > Technical support and investigate it with our support team? Thanks.

Hi Dima,

thanks for your reply.
For some reason, it began working on saturday and although it is not working every day ( I am using it on 2 servers in the same subnet at the moment), it works about 80% of the time.
When I have the time I will dig into the logs, but for now, that's all we need.
