Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
For server 2008 you won't find anything at from Veeam because 2008R2SP1 is the minimum version supported
In general, MySQL restore is done with native tools. See whitepaper
For Oracle, please see the user guide from backup & replication.
- RMAN
- Veeam Explorer for Oracle
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Mysql 5.1 running on windows 2008 with Physical server
Hello,
you posted in the "Veeam Agent for Windows" forum. So I understand that you are talking about physical machines. Physical machines backup requires agents. Agents don't support your Windows 2008 without SP2 as stated earlier.
Agents have no "standard edition." They have server and workstation edition.
If your machine is a virtual machine, then we are talking about "backup and replication" which has a "standard edition". No agents. If it is a VM, then you can backup everything with every Veeam Backup & Replication" edition. No matter which operating system. We support everything that VMware supports.
Best regards,
Hannes
